Aware that her name is quite difficult to spell correctly, Chhuy-Ing created her pseudonym on the Internet, Ciia (initials of his name associated with his name Ia), in order to make written communication easier. But the use of her first name is definitely more friendly and warm in its sound.
Born in 1978, from Vietnamese descent, she grew up in Paris and studied literature before failing without great ambition in English studies.
She did not intend to be an illustrator nor a character design for animation, but, finally passion was stronger than reason. She took up her pencils again at the age of 21, studied animation at the LTAM (Luxembourg), discovered Photoshop and graphic tablet. She is now part of the vast and rich world of animation, illustration and comics.
